The Analytics & Insights Team at AIR MILES® is looking for a Manager, Digital Analytics to join our team.

The A&I Team is a group of 100+ individuals working across different disciplines within Data & Marketing Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Products, and Market Research. We work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders and our external business partners across industries such as Grocery, Banking and Retail to design, develop and execute loyalty marketing analytics solutions using one of Canada’s largest transactional databases and best-in-class technologies. What Will You Work On?

Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Analytics, this role is responsible for delivering Reports, Dashboards, and Insights in support of AMRP’s digital strategy. The mandate includes partnering with digital channel owners as well as internal data  science, customer service, marketing, legal and technology teams to ensure the organization understands and can act on insights derived from our customers’ on-site digital behaviour.

Additional responsibilities include training the organization on the access and use of digital analytics data, supporting campaign tracking & a/b testing.  In support of these goals, this role will manage, recruit, and train a small team of talented digital analysts.

How Will You Create Impact?

  • Conduct reporting and analyses on all digital properties to enhance user experiences, optimize campaign performance, and provide recommendations to the organization
  • Work with stakeholders, designers, and developers to develop measurement plans that enable future reporting and analyses
  • Oversee, create, and automate tools and dashboards to effectively manage requests from stakeholders with varying levels of technical capability
  • Build and foster a team with high levels of relevant skills (analytics, story-telling, data visualization, etc.) and knowledge (an understanding of tagging, marketing technologies and methods, quantitative and qualitative research methods)
  • QA and troubleshoot, tags on digital properties using JavaScript and the developer console

Let’s Talk About You:  

  • Four-year degree or equivalent, with some statistics
  • 3+years of digital analytics experience using Google or Adobe Analytics.
  • Google or Adobe Analytics certification
  • Ability to QA digital analytics code with browser consoles, and an understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the document object model.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tag managers and tagging methods
  • Strong familiarity with Digital Marketing technologies, including campaign tracking
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python for data science is a requirement
